Yu-sho-kan Karate Dojo, led by Sensei Yuko Hirose, is a welcoming and disciplined karate school based in Ealing, London. With over five years of teaching experience in the local community, Sensei Hirose is dedicated to helping students of all ages develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and respect through traditional karate training.

Sensei Hirose’s journey in karate began during a challenging time in her life. After losing her father at the age of 14, she started karate at 15. Through her training, she developed both mental resilience and physical strength, using karate as a foundation to rebuild confidence and focus. Within just one year of starting, she became a kumite champion in Kyoto. She went on to achieve 2nd place in the Kansai Tournament in kumiteand 2nd place in kata, and also became a multiple-time kumite champion in Uji City, demonstrating her determination and high level of skill.

The dojo offers structured classes for both children and adults, focusing on technique, progression, and personal growth. Yu-sho-kan provides a supportive environment where beginners can start their journey and more experienced students can continue to refine their skills.

Yu-sho-kan shares the same values as Kaishi Karate School of high-quality instruction, discipline and positive development, creating a strong connection within the wider karate community.
